DIY 'Drum Lampshade' Kit
You too can be a bona fide lamp shade maker with our new DIY Drum Lampshade kits. Just add fabric!
Available in four sizes:
Small: 25cm diameter x 23cm high
Medium: 30cm diameter x 23cm high
Large: 35cm diameter x 28cm high
Extra Large: 40cm diameter x 30cm high
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
- White PVC lampshade paper
- Shade reducer (allows your lampshade to fit both euro & standard fittings)
- Double sided tape - clear AND red
- Ringsets - bulb (has the spokes and circle in the middle) and plain ring
- Edging/tucking in tool AKA cheese knife - we like to multipurpose around here ;)
WHAT WILL I NEED?
- Iron & ironing board
- Fabric scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Fabric - cotton/cotton blend, drill or linen as it is easier to work with. Try not to use shiny/slippery or loose weave fabrics first up!
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
SMALL KIT: 90cm wide (width of fabric) x 30cm length (needed to buy)
MEDIUM KIT: 105cm wide (width of fabric) x 30cm length (needed to buy)
LARGE KIT: 120cm wide (most soft furnishing fabrics are this wide) x 35cm length
EXTRA LARGE KIT: 137cm wide (most soft furnishing fabric is this wide)x 40cm length
